The room was recently renovated with a shower, wooden floors, modern design, the staff were superbly friendly and amiable, did everything. The rate was £ 71.

The newly decorated double room here has exceptionally comfortable beds and the breakfast is absolutely superb with a tasty variety of meals.

Recently renovated business hotel in great and incredible location very close to city center as advertised. Location really close to a cafe by the square, the car' park' and the interesting tourist attractions ranging from the Roman bridge...

Poor breakfast.

I recently stayed at Ibis in Besancon for a couple of nights. The hotel staff, especially Mrs. Sabrina and the morning receptionist, were incredibly friendly and attentive. The room maid even went above and beyond to help me when I forgot my connector. The hotel also offers secure parking in the spacious back patio/garden, which was convenient. The room was newly renovated, comfortable, and clean, with a great view of the hilltop fortress. The location is also convenient, close to a main road and within walking distance of shops and restaurants. it was an enjoyable stay.

Would recommend this hotel.

The rooms here are really quiet and come with a shower. You'll also have access to an electronic key card, a work desk, and a TV with lots of channels. the location is awesome, with plenty of great restaurants nearby. 🍽️

Excellent staff

My husband and I recently stayed at the Ibis in Besancon for four nights and were very impressed with the hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious, but what really stood out was the helpful and friendly staff. Madame Chantal Louveau, in particular, went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She not only upgraded our room to provide a better view but also provided valuable assistance with sight-seeing, marked routes on maps, and gave great dining recommendations. Her warm smile and friendly demeanor made our trip truly enjoyable. In contrast, we had a less pleasant experience with the receptionists at another Ibis in Beaune who lacked the same level of customer service.

The place was perfectly clean and the staff was really helpful and efficient. the rooms were well-maintained with comfortable beds, an electronic key card, a work desk, and a TV. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay for my business trip.

This hotel in the city center is great value for money. The rooms have a functional design, with attention to detail and excellent showers. The staff are very helpful and speak great English. The breakfast offers a good selection and is a great start to the day.

The phonic isolation in the rooms could be improved for a more peaceful and quiet stay.

The room was small but comfortable with a nice design. The bed was cozy and the bedding was of good quality. The location was great, close to many tourist attractions and within walking distance of restaurants and shops. The closed parking courtyard was a convenient option.

The breakfast area was not comfortable and the tables were placed in the hallway. The coffee was not good and most of the food offered seemed to be packaged.

This hotel is in a great location, right at the city center and close to all the major tourist sites. The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming. The cleanliness of the hotel is outstanding, both in the room and in the hotel facilities. The parking is very convenient and easy to access.

Likes of the Stay: The location of the hotel was fantastic, right in the heart of the town. It was so convenient to be able to walk to all the restaurants and shops. The staff were also very friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home from the moment I arrived. the room was clean and comfortable, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay.

Dislikes of the Stay: The entrance to the parking lot was quite narrow and tricky to navigate, especially if you have a larger car.

No complaints - everything was perfect.

The xmas package included complimentary wine and chocolates in the room, which was a nice touch. the hotel was located in a great spot in the city, with plenty of restaurants and bars around. We loved how close it was to the Christmas market, which was a highlight of our trip. Plus, the room had a great view of the city, which we really enjoyed.

Our room had a strange odour that made it uncomfortable to be in for long periods of time. the bed linens also seemed dirty and needed to be replaced.

Staying here was a great experience! The hotel was located in the heart of the city, just a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. The room was clean and comfortable, with everything we needed for our stay. We also appreciated the affordable price - it was a great value for the quality of accommodation.

The language barrier - the staff mostly spoke French, which made it a bit difficult to communicate at times. However, they were always polite and friendly, despite our lack of French skills.
